The movie 'Twister' comes to life in Oklahoma

EF4 Tornado: Two miles wide with winds 166-200 mph, according to CNN.

Have you ever seen the movie 'Twister'? Do you remember the scene where animals were swirling around in the tornado and houses completely lifted off the ground? People were trapped as the debris landed on them, their cars, and what was left of their homes. That horrific scene became reality for the Oklahoma City suburb of Moore on Monday. The tornado led a 17 mile path of descruction, flatening an elementary school along the way. The winds from the two-mile wide tornado reached up to 200 mph. Classified as an EF4, this tornado was the second most severe, with only an EF5 being worse.

Crews were working around the clock sifting through the leveled homes to make sure there was no one stuck or overlooked. The death toll is now down to 24 from 51, nine of which are children. 120 people were wounded and treated at a nearby hospital. Injuries range from impalements to lacerations. With almost the whole town of Moore being flattened, the emotional and physical damages are going to be tough to deal with. But as with any other tragedy this nation has been faced with, time to heal and rebuild, along with support from others will be the remedy.

So what do you guys think? Do you think this town will recover? How do you think you would handle it if something like this happened to Philly? Talk to me!
