Advanced College Experience (ACE)
Program Dates: July 9 - August 7, 2012
9th - 12th Grade Students and those pursing a GED: Sign Up for the ACE Program!
Get a head start on college with Community College of Philadelphia’s summer ACE program. ACE, the Advanced College Experience, will provide you with an opportunity you will never foget! ACE ‘12 provides college-level courses for highly motivated high school students going into 9th, 10th, 11th or 12th grades or students pursing a GED. We accept public, private, charter, archdiocesan and home-schooled students. Meeting students from diverse backgrounds and getting a jump on college with the possibility of earning college credits, exploring career interests or using your creative talents are some of the many reasons we think you should talk to your teachers, friends and family about registering for ACE.
The ACE program offers a cross-section of the regular college courses we have at Community College of Philadelphia. The classes are intensive and include a full semester of course material from July 9 - August 7. Courses meet Monday through Thursday, three and one-half hours per day. There are no classes on Fridays. (See course descriptions for exact times.) It’s a tough schedule and requires hard work, dedication to the task and, most of all, a desire to learn new and exciting academic skills.

  1. Teens will definitely have something to be busy in summer. At least they are spending their time meaningfully.
