We have all been in the
situation where you just ended a relationship and have no idea what to do
next. Breaking up can be difficult but
here are 10 things all girls should do in order to move on.
1. Strip Your Sheets/ Change
Up Your Room.
Buying all new bed room sheet set gets rid of the
horrible bedroom energy you and your ex once shared. Give your self a fresh start with a fresh new
look. Take down all the “he gave me this” and “remember when” things you guys
once shared.
2. Work it Out
Pump up your mood with a work-out. Take a Zumba or boot camp class at your gym
finished with yoga to relax your mind.
Run some laps on the track or just dance in your room to your favorite
Beyonce song. Just get your blood
flowing and your mind off things. Think
about the amazing body you will have in a few weeks if you keep it up.
3. Indulge at the Makeup
Counter/ Go Shopping
Updating your look will help you feel sexy and desirable again.
Every girl just wants to go back to feeling like her good ol’ self and a new
look will do just that.
4. Obsess Over the Breakup…for
15 Minutes.
Obsessing over something, especially a break up is the
natural way our brains deal with change. You have to allow yourself to freak
out for a little bit. Allowing time for yourself to think about your break up
in a healthy way will allow you to gain control over the situation.
5. Go on a 30-day Cleanse.
No not a 30 day diet but 30 days of no contact with your
ex. You’ll get over it faster with zero
contact and you can prove to yourself that you can survive without him.
6. Hit Delete.
When you spy on him through Facebook, Twitter, Instagram
you are only making things worse.
Unfriend and unfollow him. You
don’t need a reminder of him every time you get on a social network.
7. Let Your friends Know What
You Need.
Whether you want to have a single girls night on the town
to look for a new potential boyfriend or just simply get out the house to the
movies, make sure your friends are clear on how they can help you deal.
8. Boost Your Ego.
Do something you never done before, completing just one
difficult task will help remind you that you’re pretty darn awesome.
9. Get a Pet.
No one is advising you go out the day after your break up
and get a pit-bull, unless you wanted to.
But get something small like a fish, just something you can show your
affection to.
10. Take a Fabulous trip.
Take a small vacation to maybe the Jersey
Shore or even Atlantic City, nothing to big unless you can
afford it. The key is to give yourself
time to feel like crap after a breakup so that way you can truly enjoy your
getaway once you finally leave.
