Poet Safiya Washington Named SIHLE Sister of the Week

Sisters Informing Healing Living & Empowering is a monthly healthy lifestyles workshop aimed at reducing HIV sexual risk behaviors, improving personal communication skills, identify and maintain healthy relationships and promote gender and ethnic pride among African American females between the ages of 14 and 18. The SIHLE SISTER OF THE WEEK is a special segment where we highlight the achievement of young women who are outstanding in their school, church, family and community.
