How to Get Through the Winter Blues

Fewer days, and freezing temps can make anyone sad.  Here are 7 ways to perk up your day during these cold months.

1. Make sure to turn your lights on right after your alarm goes off.  Trying to wake up in the dark will only make you feel sleepier.

2. Light a candle or brew coffee. Have a strong fragrance to make sure you wake up.

3.  Bundle up and take a walk during lunch.  Don't stay inside go out and get some sun.

4. Make plans after work or school that will keep you out of the house.  Facebook and TV can wait to later.

5. Give your room a new face.  Add bright colors, jewels and glitter.

6. Bring home flowers from a local shop to remind you of the upcoming spring months.

7. Plan a little outdoor getaway.  Go explore a bunch of shops and try something new.
